Botswana Luxury Honeymoon Safari - Okavango Delta and Chobe National Park - From £3,975 per person sharing excluding international flights

Day 1

Met upon arrival at Livingstone Airport and transfer to the Royal Livingstone Hotel. A lovely 5 star hotel stretching along the banks of the Zambezi River; larger than other lodges in this area upgrades to Tongabezi or Stanley Safari Lodge are available upon request. Guests can choose from a host of activities available in Livingstone including, elephant back safaris, white water rafting, Zambezi riElephants on the Chobe River, Botswanaver cruises, bungi jumping, helicopter flights, to name a few which can be arranged.

Overnight: Royal Livingstone Hotel - air conditioned rooms located along the Zambezi with private balconies/terraces

Day 2

A full day to relax and enjoy the numerous activities of Livingstone  including, elephant back safaris, white water rafting, Zambezi river cruises, bungi jumping, helicopter flights, to name a few which can be arranged.

Day 3

This morning you transfer southwards and across the border into Botswana; your driver/guide will assist you with your border crossing and any necessary formalities. With a short 30min drive you will arrive in Kasane which borders the renowned Chobe National Park. A chance to relax upon arrival in the luxury of Chobe Chilwero Lodge and then in the evening go on your first game drive in Chobe national Park!Aerial View, Okavango Delta

Day 4

A chance to explore Chobe National Park in more detail... Chobe National Park is home to the largest herds of elephant in the world with the estimated population reaching 40,000! Buffalo, giraffe and lion are also in abundance. Game drives are in open 4x4 vehicles maximising your wildlife viewing. Specialist wildlife safari boats are also at your disposal to get a different perspective on the park as you get up close and personal with crocodiles, elephants crossing the river and much, much more..! Evening boat cruises are also perfect for that sunset sundowner!

Overnight: Chobe Chilwero

Day 5 

An early morning transfer to Kasane airport (20mins) for your flight southwards to the Savuti area of Chobe National Park. Savuti is renowned for its elephant and lion populations and, strangely, servals have alsoMale Lion been known to appear with regularity on night drives! An excellent area for wildlife during the dry months as there are limited water sources. A chance for your first game drive upon arrival to see what fauna and flora you can spot...Night drives are also a highlight of your stay at Savuti.

Overnight: Savuti Camp - 8 ensuite Meru style tents with ensuite facilities overlooking the grasslands. The communal area has raised decking overlooking the waterhole and a central boma for those nights of story telling around the fire!

Day 6

A full day in Savuti to take your pick of the various activities on offer. A selection of game drives, night drives and walking safaris are on offer maximising your wildlife viewing potential. Savuti also has a number of wildlife hides where you can sit back and marvel as life in the bush unfolds before your eyes. Wildlife in this area includes lion, leopard, cheetah and wild dog!

Day 7

Your final early morning game drive at Savuti prior to catching your internal flight across the Okavango Delta to Little Vumbura wLeopard on a Killhich is situated on its own island in a private concession in the northern Okavango Delta. Due to its location, a variety of activities are possible from Little Vumbura including day and night game drives, deep water boat safaris as well as mokoro trips and walking safaris upon request.

Overnight: Little Vumbura -  six ensuite tents set under the canopy of an ancient Okavango forest. A plunge pool and star deck offer a chance to wind down after your safari or alternatively dine al fresco on the wooden deck

Day 8

A full day to explore your first true tase of the Okavango Delta. Activities are as the previous day and game viewing is consistently good throughout the year including leopard, lion, elephant, sable and buffalo...

Overnight: Little Vumbura

Day 9

Another early morning game drive or boat safari prior to catcChief's Camp, Chief's Island, Bostwanahing your onward flight to the renowned Chief's Camp located on Chief's Island. Chief's Island, making up a large section of Moremi Reserve, is located in the centre of the Okavango Delta and is praised for its Big Cat populations. A chance to relax and enjoy your surroundings upon arrival with a sumptuous lunch or a dip in the pool overlooking the Okavango Delta. In the afternoon a game drive through the "Predator Capital" of Africa...

Overnight: Chief's Camp - 12 luxury ensuite tents with private terraces and indoor and outdoor showers and even Wi-Fi! An interesting shop with good quality reference books provides for some browsing and a pool overlooking the Okavango delta is a perfect way to while away the afternoon.

Day 10

Your final day of game viewing and what an area to finish in! The combination of great wildlife viewing and the luxury of Chief's Camp is the ideal end to your safari...unless extending for a few days to the pristine beaMekoro Ride, Okavango Deltaches of Mozambique...!

Day 11

After an early morning activity and breakfast, time permitting; you connect with your flight to Maun, in time for your onward travel connections.
