Ultimate Tri-Nations Safari - A 14 Day Safari to Namibia, Botswana & Zambia - From £3,250 per Person Sharing, Excluding International Flights

Day 1
On your arrival into Eros International Airport in Windhoek, you will be met by one of World Big Cat Safaris representatives who will assistHyena, Etosha National Park, Namibia you with your vehicle collection. They will also go over the itinerary with you and answer any questions you may have. It is a short drive to the guesthouse where you have the rest Leopard, Namibiaof the day at leisure.
Overnight: Elegant Guesthouse – is an upmarket guesthouse with 6 luxury en-suite double rooms. There is a guest lounge and a lovely garden with a plunge pool

Day 2
This morning after breakfast head north to the AfriCat Foundation which rescues lion, cheetah, leopard and wild dog from farmers who persecute them. This afternoon you will head out with the guide who will radio track some of the leopard that live inside the 4500Ha enclosure. They are semi wild and catch their own food. There is a hide that is floodlight giving you the chance to observe the nocturnal animals that some down to drink under the cover of darkness.
Overnight: Okanjima Main Camp – Standard View Room – is the old farmhouse which has been converted into 6 en-suite rooms that are close to the lapa (the gathering place), swimming pool and garden area (B/D)

Day 3
This morning you will have the chance to visit the cheetah project which gives you an insight into the welfare work of the AfriCat Foundation. After this amazing experience you continue north to the Etosha National Park, home to 114 mamHyena, Etosha National Park, Namibiamal species and hundreds of different birds. Etosha, which means “great white place”, is dominated by the massive pan that covers about 25% of the park. There are 114 mammal species including lion, black and white rhino, elephant, lion, leopard, cheetah, gemsbok, giraffe, springbok and much, much more. Depending on your time of arrival you may have a chance for an afternoon game drive in the Etosha National Park.
Overnight: Mushara Bush Camp – has 16 en-suite safari tents with a private veranda and floor to ceiling windows. The camp is ideally situated about 8Km from the Namutoni Gate of Etosha National Park (B/D)

Day 4
You have a full day to go a safari in the Etosha National Park. The best time for wildlife viewing is in the early mornings and afternoons when it is cool and the animals are most active. There are several manmade waterholes throughout the park which attracts numerous animals and birds. Fischer’s Pan is a magnet for water birds including flocks of flamingos. Most activity happens around the waterholes often attracting large herds of kudu, springbok, giraffe, wildebeest, black faced impala, oryx and elephant. These in turn attract the predators like cheetah, lion and leopard that often lie in wait around the waterholes ready for an ambush.

Day 5
You have time to enjoy an early morning safari in the Etosha National Park before heading back to Windhoek for the night.

Day 6
Sossusvlei is home to some of the largest sand dunes in the world – some towering moreSossusvlei Dunes, Namibia than 300 meters above the sun backed earth below. The drive to Sossusvlei will take about 5 – 6 hours depending on how often you stop for photos and to stretch your legs. That is the advantage of a doing a self drive safari in Namibia.  Depending onSossusvlei Dunes, Namibia your time of arrival you may have a chance to visit the Sesriem Canyon which is a 30 meter deep canyon gorged out of the rock by the Tsauchab River. Activities from the lodge include sunset drives in Sossusvlei and Namib by night which is a gentle stroll around the lodge with some star gazing.
Overnight: Sossus Dune Lodge – was the first lodge to be built inside the Namib-Naukluft Park. It offers 23 desert chalets, a swimming pool, bar and restaurant. The chalets which are built from canvas, wood and thatch all lead off the main board walk and have views out across Sossusvlei (B/D)

Day 7
The best time to see the towering sand dunes of Sossusvlei is in the morning as the sun rises and this is the bonus of staying at the Sossus Dune Lodge because you are inside the park you have access to Deadvlei and Dune 45 an hour before the gates open. Some of the red sand dunes at Sossusvlei are over 300 meters high, giving you a great vantage point to look out over the Namib Desert. The rest of the day is yours at leisure.

Day 8
You have theCheetah, Kwando, Botswana full day to get back to Windhoek for the night, which means you have the morning to explore the sand dunes or even go on a hot air balloon ride over the dunes giving you a different perspective of the desert. This is followed by a champagne breakfast out amongst the dunes.

Day 9
This morning you have an early start for your flight to the Caprivi Strip where you will be met for your transfer down the Kwando River to the Kwando concession in Botswana.  This afternoon you settle into your camp or have a cooling swim prior to an evening game drive or night drive...
Overnight: Lagoon Camp - 8 luxury safari style tents located on the shady banks of the Kwando River. One of the most beautiful camp settings in the Okavango Delta (B/L/D)

Day 10 and 11
Lagoon is renowned for its huge elephant and buffalo herds as well as its resident wild dogs...Experience the unique wildlife of this private concession on foot, by 4x4 or boat...The lion prides are also known for their hunting of larger prey than usual including elephants, buffalos and hippos!

Day 12
This morning you make your way out of the Delta and on to Livingstone and the breathtaking VictoriaLeopard, Namibia Falls. Flying from Lagoon to Kasane you will be met by your vehicle and transfer to the stunning Thorntree River Lodge on the banks of the Zambezi River. This afternoon you have a choice of activities that you want to participate in from the lodge – game drives in the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park or a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River.
Overnight: ThVictoria Falls, Zambiaorntree River Lodge – has 9 luxurious suites set along the river. Each suite has en-suite facilities and a private veranda with views of the Zambezi River (B/D)

Day 13
A full day to enjoy the comfort of your lodge and explore the surrounding area. An obvious must is a visit to the breathtaking Victoria Falls or, for an aerial view, why not try a helicopter flight over the Falls! Alternatives include white water rafting, a visit to the park and romantic meals on Livingstone Island to name but just a few! Thorntree River Lodge is home to a herd of habituated elephants and so you can enjoy an elephant interaction or elephant back safari through the park.

Day 14
Today you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight (B)
