Highlights of Zambia Safari; The Ultimate Wildlife Holiday and Family Vacation - From £3,750 per Person, Excluding International Flights

Day 1
Arrive into Lusaka where you where you will be met by our local representative and shown to the check in for your internal flight. The flight to Mfuwe takes about an hour and a half, on arrival you will be met and transferred to your Elephantlodge. The drive to the lodge takes you through villages, agriculture as well as wild bush until you reach the Luangwa River. Depending on your time of arrival you will have lunch overlooking the Luangwa River before going on an afternoon game drive and night drive.
Overnight: Nkwali Lodge - set on the banks of the Luangwa River overlooking the South Luangwa National Park. All 6 rooms have views onto the river and are all ensuite with open showers (B/L/D)

Day 2
After an early breakfast cooked on the open fire you will have a choice of activities for your morning. South Luangwa Valley National Park is famous for its walking safaris making this an ideal time to start. You will access the South Luangwa National Park by boat or pontoon before continuing on foot into big game country. You can opt to go for a game drive if you are not feeling up to a walking safari on your first day!
Overnight: Nkwali Lodge (B/L/D)

Day 3
After an early breakfast you will have a safari game drive transfer through the South Luangwa Valley National Park until you reach the crossing point of the Luangwa River where you will be met by your lodge staff who will help you over the river crossing. Another 45mins brings you to the beautiful Nsefu Camp. A chance to relax and enjoy your surroundings this afternoon prior to going out on an afternoon/evening safari. Nsefu is almost like a private concession with only three lodges located on this "island" therefore limiting bumping into any other safari vehicles!
Overnight: Nsefu Camp – This was the first safari camp in Zambia and dates back to the early 50s. The 6 rondavals have ensuite facilities and a balcony with sweeping views of the Luangwa River (B/L/D)

Day 4 and 5
Two days to enjoy this stunning area. A variety of game drives and walking safaris are on offer to maximise your wildlife viewing. Other activities include a visit to the thermal springs in the northern area of the Nsefu Sector or alternatively sit back and relax at the lodge where you can almost set your watch by the elephants crossing the river in front of the lodge! South Luangwa Valley is also renowned for its leopard sightings so keep your eyes peeled and make the most of the night drives!

Day 6
Today you transfer back to Mfuwe airport in time for your internal flight southwards to the Lower Zambezi National Park; fantastic views along the way as you watch the Zambezi River snaking its way through the floodplains. A short 15 minute transfer to the lodge upon arrival and then afternoon game drives to explore this stunning region...
Overnight: Chongwe River Camp – a luxury bushcamp set on the banks of the Chongwe and Zambezi Rivers overlooking the famous Mana Pools National Park. The safari style tents are under thatched roofs all with open air ensuite bathrooms (B/L/D)

Day 7 and 8
Most of the game viewing activities are conducted along the Zambezi River as this is where the animals spend most their time. A variety of activites are on offer including 4x4 game drives, walking safaris with professional guides and a selection of river trips to maximise your game viewing potential! 
Overnight: Chongwe River Camp (B/L/D)

Day 9
From the Lower Zambezi you fly to Livingstone via Lusaka. This is one of the highlights of any African Safari. This afternooHippon you have the day to yourself to relax and think about your Zambia Safari or alternatively you can participate in the many activities available on offer at Victoria Falls. These include bungee jumping, helicopter flights over the falls, sunset cruises, game drives in the nearby Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park or how about a visit to one of the many craft villages in the area for some last minute gift shopping.
Overnight: Tongabezi Lodge – a beautiful luxury lodge approximately 45 minutes upstream from Victoria Falls on a bend in the Zambezi River. A selection of individually designed rooms including some open to the air for the more adventurous! (B/L/D)

Day 10
Visit the mighty Victoria Falls which is an amazing sight and something not to be missed. This is a perfect way to end your Zambian Safari. Take the famous flight of angels over the falls giving you a bird’s eye view of the upper Zambezi as well as the gorges below the Victoria Falls.
Overnight: Tongabezi Lodge (B/L/D)

Day 11
Today you transfer back to the airport fro your return flight to Lusaka in time for your international flight back home (B)
