Tena Tena Camp is an intimate camp located in the Nsefu Sector of South Luangwa Valley National Park affording fantastic views directly over the Luangwa River. As you sit back and relax at the bar you can watch elephants crossing, listen to hippos bellowing and watch crocs sunbathing...recently the evening spectacle has even been watching a pride of lions walking by camp as you have your dinner! Accommodating 8-10 guests and located in a mahogany grove the communal areas are thatched whilst the individual tents are made in an extravagant canvas style...including the ensuite bathrooms!

Style: A traditional romantic tented safari camp with a back to nature feel.
Setting: In the remote Nsefu sector in the north of South Luangwa National Park, a game rich area just an hour drive from Mfuwe.
Accommodation & Facilities: The tents, as well as the main area, are all discretely tucked away underneath a canopy of trees and set quite far apart to ensure privacy. The tents are all stylishly decorated with neutral safari tones and very spacious. Bedrooms are separated from the outdoor, en-suite bathrooms by a dressing room. The bathrooms all include a flush toilet, wash basin and hot and cold shower. There is no electricity in the tents, however you are provided with a torch as well as mosquito repellent and drinking water.
The main area has a wonderful, high thatched roof, nice wooden furniture and no shortage of soft cushions!
Dining: The dining table is on a wooden deck overlooking the water hole. The food is fantastic and all included; dinner is usually served under the stars.
Activities: The game drives, walking safaris and bird watching here is fantastic.
Child Policy: Children welcome over 12 years, however they must be supervised at all times. This is more of an adult camp.
