Sanctuary Chichele Presidential Lodge, South Luangwa National Park

Sanctuary Chichele Presidential Lodge

Originally built for the former Zambian president, Kenneth Kaunda, in the 1970’s, the lodge retains its original colonial style despite a massive refurbishment and has all the luxury you would expect. The area is renowned for its prolific game viewing and is great for leopard spotting and endemic species such as Thornicroft’s giraffe.

The elegant hilltop lodge overlooks a magnificent valley in South Luangwa National Park and each of the 10 air conditioned suites has its own private vista of the area.
