Kapinga Camp
Kapinga Camp is a luxury camp located on the Busanga Plains of Kafue National Park, the largest national park of Zambia. Extravagantly designed tents with king size beds, en-suite bathrooms, indoor and outdoor showers, private decking with lazy cushioned areas makes this a pleasure to stay at. Style: An intimate and personal safari camp, designed to work naturally with the environment
Setting: In the North West corner of Kafue National Park called Busunga Plains, an area unspoilt by human development.
Accommodation & Facilities: The 4 spacious meru style tents all have 4 poster twin beds, which can easily be changed to a double, and are filled with neutral décor. Each tent has a large decked seating area with fitted seating, perfect for relaxing between activities. The en-suite bathrooms have nice double copper basins, flush toilets and both an indoor and outdoor showers.
The main area is shaded by trees and raised on a wooden platform to enhance the incredible views. The camp also has a plunge pool set in the sun deck, complete with sun loungers, lounge area and a camp fire. Natural products were used wherever possible in the construction of the camp.
Dining: Traditional style dinners are served in the boma under the stars or indoors.
Activities: The guiding is fantastic here and activities focus on drives in and around the plains during the day and at night. Due to the terrain being so open, there is not option for walking here.
