Chamilandu Bushcamp
The Chamilandu Bushcamp offers accommodation perched on 2 metre high stilts, overlooking the Luangwa River, with the Nchindeni Hills providing the perfect backdrop. The camp is wonderfully authentic and elegant, kept cool by African Ebony trees. The area provides very wild and varied landscapes, from open floodplains to riverine forest; meaning a huge diversity in the wildlife.

Style: An authentic and exclusive stilted bushcamp, with great service and an understated elegance.
Setting: On the banks of the Luangwa River, surrounded by 7 oxbow lagoons and a wide variety of environments. Animals roam the landscape below whilst you relax on your private veranda. A wide and varied abundance of game is present in this region.
Accommodation & Facilities: Guests stay in one of just 3 thatched chalets, all of which are on stilts 2 metres above the ground. Chalets are en-suite, complete with twin basins, flushable toilets and outdoor showers. Hot and cold water is available due to their solar powered heating system. Chalets are neutrally decorated, with high quality, yet simple furniture and have their own private viewing deck.
The main area is surrounded on three sides by a waist high reed and the high thatched roofs encourage fruit bats to live.
Activities: The main activities are walking safaris and game drives (both day and night), both accompanied by qualified and knowledgeable guides.
Dining: Food is made from fresh ingredients, there is a variety of dishes all of which are good quality and delicious.
Child Policy: Children welcome over the age of 12.
