Day 1
Met upon arrival and transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport where you catch your internal charter flight (1430/1710) to Kogatende airstrip in the middle of Serengeti National Park. World renowned for its wildlife sightings,
Serengeti offers an unparalleled wildlife safari experience. From the airstrip you have a short transfer through the park to Olakira Tented Camp enjoying your first game drive along the way.
Overnight: Olakira Camp – a classic intimate mobile tented camp providing excellent access to the wildlife of the Serengeti. Spacious tents with king-sized beds, private verandas with views over the Serengeti plains and en-suite facilities (B/L/D)
Days 2, 3
Two full days to enjoy game drives in Serengeti National Park. The area around Olakira is great for some amazing wildlife viewing with plenty of the big cats attracted by the migrating herds that pass through the area. Subject to the movement of the migration you may even be able to see some of the migratory wildebeest and zebra who share the land with many large cats, elephant, giraffe, Thomson gazelle and a host of other species. You may want to spend your afternoon relaxing back at your camp prior to setting off again on another game drive in the afternoon. Why not finish your day with a relaxing sun downer either out on the plains or back at camp.

Day 4
A final game drive this morning before transferring to Kogatende Airstrip to catch your 1000hrs flight southwards across the Serengeti to Seronera airstrip (ETA 1105). Met upon arrival you have a transfer through the central Serengeti, game driving along the way, to your home for the next 3 nights, the cosy Dunia Camp. Take time to relax into your surroundings and enjoy a sumptuous lunch before setting out again this afternoon on another game drive. Dunia is perfectly located to maximise wildlife sightings with resident lion prides and leopards always on patrol!
Overnight: Dunia Camp – perfectly located for some great resident game viewing. Cosy en-suite tents with netted porches allowing you to sit out and enjoy views over the grassy plains. A cosy lounge area and ample dining space offer you the chance to sit back and relax in between your game drives (B/L/D)
Days 5, 6
Spend the next 2 days exploring this area and enjoying game drives through the Central Serengeti. This is a great region for Big Cats as well as elephants, giraffe, zebra and more. The Moru Kopjes are one of the last haunts of the endangered black rhino so spend some time on the lookout for these beautiful beasts in their natural habitat.

Day 7
One last game drive this morning before a short transfer to Seronera airstrip where you catch your onward internal charter flight to Lake Manyara airstrip (1120hrs/1220hrs). Met upon arrival and make your way to the renowned Ngorongoro Crater. A truly breathtaking spectacle with some great game and an ideal location to relax for the afternoon enjoying its resident game including flamboyant flamingos, huge tusker elephants, rhinos, prides of lions and more. This evening you have a short transfer to your lodge for the evening where you have a chance to sit back, relax and reminisce over the adventures of the last week or so.
Overnight: Plantation Lodge – a lovely homely lodge with a colonial feel. Tasty home grown food and a pool to cool off in make this the ideal place to relax and enjoy your last night on safari (B/L/D)
Day 8
A relaxing morning prior to catching your onward internal flight at 1125hrs to Zanzibar. A short transfer from the airport b
rings you to the lovely Matemwe Lodge which will be your home for the next few days. A chance to kick off your shoes and enjoy the coast and comfort of this tropical island getaway.
Overnight: Matemwe Main Lodge; Luxury Room – 12 beautiful bungalows constructed of local materials with private verandas and overlooking the Indian Ocean. Relax and enjoy fresh seafood at the open air restaurant or enjoy a cooling drink at the bar (B/L/D)
Day 9, 10, 11
Three full days to relax and enjoy Zanzibar. A variety of activities are on offer including snorkelling, sailing out to the local reef, kayaking, village visits, spice tours to local Stonetown, spa treatments, relaxing by the pool or diving.
Overnight: Matemwe Main Lodge (B/L/D)
Day 12
This morning you leave the comfort of Matemwe and make your way back to Stonetown where you catch your 1300hrs flight back to Dar Es Salaam (ETA 1320hrs) in time for your international flight back home (B)
