Sayari Camp, Serengeti National Park
Sayari Camp
Accommodating up to 30 guests occupies a fantastically peaceful setting within the Serengeti National Park. This area of hills and rolling plains is more undulating than much of the Serengeti, making for spectacular views. Owing to its remoteness, Sayari Camp is still the only permanent camp in the remote north-western Serengeti and has been almost untouched by tourists.
- 15 spacious tents
- Rock swimming pool
- Children welcome
- Great for families
Style: A remote camp with spectacular views.
Setting: Sayari Camp is situated on the Mara River in the remote northern Serengeti, an ideal location to witness the Great Migration between August and November across the Mara River.
Accommodation & facilities: The camp is divided into two wings; one with nine tents and one with six, each with its own bar and lounge tent. The tents are very spacious, each with a private veranda with beautiful views of the Serengeti. Interiors are beautifully decorated with traditional fabrics and contemporary furniture. The environmentally friendly en-suite bathrooms have flush toilets, twin sinks, bathtubs and showers.
Sayari Camp has one suite, ideal for honeymooners or guests wanting a little more privacy, and is complete with private butler and two rock baths - one indoor and one outside.
The camp's central area has a large comfortable lounge with a bar. The two 'chill-out' areas make ideal places to relax and enjoy the peaceful setting. There is also a rock swimming pool.
Dining: The food is of a very good quality, a fusion of authentic African and nouvelle European cuisine.
Activities: Game drives operate in 4x4vehicles. Sayarai Camp also offers walking safaris in the early morning and late afternoon.
Child policy: Children of all ages are welcome.
