Olakira Tented Camp
This mobile tented camp moves through the Serengeti, staying close to the Great Migration - one of the world’s natural wonders. Wildlife viewing from the camp itself can be spectacular, and game drives offer one of the best opportunities on the African continent to see animals such as lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant and giraffe. Lucky guests may even get to see rhino, to complete the search for the ‘Big Five’.
Accommodating a maximum of twelve guests incomfortable, en-suite tents, this intimate camp is also an ideal camp to stay at on the way to its sister camp, Sayari Mara.

Style: An intimate, fully furnished mobile tented camp that moves through the Serengeti with the Great Migration.
Setting: Olakira Camp is mobile, in order to stay close to the movement of the Great Migration. From December to March, the camp is positioned in the Southern Serengeti (Ndutu area). From June, the camp moves into central Serengeti around Seronera. From July onwards, Olakira stays in the Central Serengeti to observe the resident wildlife of Seronera, which boasts one of the greatest concentrations of lion prides and leopard in the Serengeti.
Accommodation & facilities: The camp has only six guest tents to ensure the ultimate feeling of an exclusive and intimate safari under canvas. Tents are spacious, comfortable with en-suite flush toilets and safari showers.
The lounge and dinner tents are beautifully designed, and with the evening campfire and the sounds of wildlife, Olakira Tented Camp delivers an unforgettable safari experience.
Dining: Food and service at Olakira Camp are of the highest standard and guests can enjoy a private dinner under the stars.
Activities: Game drives in open 4x4 vehicles and bird-watching excursions are on offer. Wildlife viewing from the camp is excellent and access to balloon flights is available.
