A 13 Day Wildlife and Beach Safari - From £3,800 Per Person Sharing, Excluding International Flights

Day 1
On arrival into Johannesburg you will be met by our local representative who will assist you with customs and immigration before taking you to the domestic terminal for your onward flight to Hoedspruit. From here you will have a road transfer to the Makalali Private Game Reserve. Depending on your time of arrival you may have the chance to head out on an afternoon game drive or bush walk. Alternatively spend the afternoon relaxing at the lodge after your long flight. 
Overnight: Garonga Safari Lodge – Six tented rooms all with en-suite facilities (indoor and outdoor shower) and a private balcony overlooking a dry river bed. There is a communal swimming pool too which is perfect for cooling off in during the heat of the day (D)

Days 2, 3, 4, 5
Spend four full days exploring and enjoy all that this private game reserve has to offer. Activities include morning and afternoon game drives, bush walks, reflexology sessions and bush baths. If you don’t feel like going for a game drive, simply relax around the pool at the lodge and watch the game as it wonders past the lodge.

Day 6
After a leisurely morning you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Johannesburg. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day will be yours to relax.
Overnight: Airport Sun Intercontinental – Comfortable en-suite bedrooms. The hotel also has a spa which looks out over the city (B)

Day 7
After an early breakfast you will head back to the airport for your morning flight to the island of Madagascar. On arrival into Antananarivo you will be able to connect with your internal flight north to Nosy Be. Here you will be met and transferred to Tsarabanjina by boat.   

Tsarabanjina is a beautiful little island with black, red and grey volcanic rocks in the centre which are covered in lush green vegetation. The beaches here are fantastic with white sand leading into crystal clear waters. Both turtles and rays are found along the beaches and divers can spend hours here. As well as the marine life, there are some great walking trails.
Overnight: Tsarabanjina – Uniquely designed wooden bungalows which look out on the sea. Each comes with its own private terrace, the perfect place to relax during the day (B/L/D)

Days 8, 9, 10, 11, 12
Set amidst the Mitsio archipelago this is a mountainous island surrounded by beautiful white beaches and is an ideal place to relax after the last couple of days of exploration. Optional activities include walks to the top of the mountain where the views are spectacular, snorkelling, sailing, fishing, diving, water skiing and excursions to the neighbouring islands in the archipelago. The restaurant is on a mezzanine level above the sand floored bar which both look out over spectacular sea. The restaurant is principally sea food based with the option to dine on the beach under the stars.

Day 13
Today you will transfer back to Nosy Be in time for your flight back to Antananarivo. Depending on the flight times you may be able to connect with the South African Airways flight back to Johannesburg; otherwise you may have to overnight in Antananarivo and get the flight the following morning (B)
