Day 1
Upon arrival into Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you are met by your professional English speaking driver/guide and 4x4 safari vehicle and transferred to Nairobi Wilson Airport to catch your internal flight into the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy (10:20 - 11:25). Lewa Wilderness Lodge is situated within the 60,000 acre Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, which uses a truly successful conservation model, recognised throughout Kenya. Resting on on the northern slopes of Mount Kenya, at roughly 1615m above sea level, this is not a malarial area.
Overnight: Lewa Wilderness Lodge – is home to Will and Emma Craig who are the hosts, along with their team of professional guides. This homely, ranch-style lodge offers great game viewing and a wide variety of activities. There are nine comfortable and spacious thatched cottages, all with en-suite bathrooms. Each cottage is individually and elegantly furnished with rustic, ranch-style furniture and woolen rugs that are made by local community workshops. There is small fireplace in each room and electricity and hot water are available in the mornings and evenings. The Lewa Wilderness Lodge is great for families, horse riding, tennis and massage (B/L/D)

Day 2, 3
The remarkable Lewa Wildlife Conservancy consists of a wide range of ecosystems, ranging from swamp to savannah; it supports a huge diversity of wildlife and is a sanctuary for many species, including black and white rhinos, giraffe and Grevy's zebra. During the next couple of days you will enjoy day and night-time game drives in 4x4 vehicles, with guided bush walks, bush meals and sundowners. Lewa Wilderness Lodge arranges Masai tribal community visits, aerial safaris in a classic bi-plane, horse riding, camel rides, farm and craft tours, and visits to a pre-historic archaeological site. Other activities available at the lodge include tennis and a massage service.

Day 4
This morning, you transfer back to the airstrip in order to meet your internal flight to the Masai Mara (09:35 – 11:00). From here, you are transferred to the wonderful Kicheche Mara Camp, game driving en-route. Kicheche Mara Camp is located on the Aitong Plains in the northern Koiyaki Lemek region of the famous Masai Mara. The camp is located in a prime wildlife area and game viewing starts right from the camp itself. Here you will have shared game drives in the Koiyaki/Lemek Group Ranch area of the Mara and shared game walks.  A visit to the National Reserve section of the Mara is also included. You will arrive in time for a late lunch after which you can enjoy your first afternoon shared game drive.
Overnight: Kicheche Mara Camp - is a classic tented camp hidden in a grove of wild olive and croton trees in a prime wildlife area of the northern Mara plains. Each tent is comfortably furnished with an en-suite bathroom and flushing toilet, low wattage lighting is supplied 24 hours. The majority of the tents are in secluded positions overlooking the plains and nearby hills, while others are closer together for families or friends. The spacious Nyati tent acts as the camp lounge with comfortable seating, a library, board games, cards and local crafts (B/L/D)

Day 5, 6
You have two full days to appreciate all that this wonderful area has to offer with shared game drives in search of the resident plains game, predators and a host of other wildlife. Game drives in the Mara North Conservancy are away from the minibuses and tourist vehicles seen in the Mara Reserve and with an excellent chance of sighting lions, cheetahs and leopards all of which are found in the conservancy and often close to camp. Sundowners, guided bush walks, a bush breakfast and cultural visits to Maasia Manyattas (villages) are also available. One day, after an early breakfast, you will drive into Masai Mara Game Reserve, for a full morning and afternoon of shared game viewing on the lookout for the Big Five! There is also the option of a Balloon Safari and Champagne Breakfast in the Mara (cost not included, please ask for more details).

Day 7
After breakfast you make your way back to the airstrip to catch your internal flight to Diani (14:00 – 16:00). Upon arrival you will be met and transferred by road and boat to the tropical small island of Funzi Keys. Here, you will sit back, relax and reminisce over your adventures.
Overnight: Funzi Keys, Deluxe Beach Front Cottage – Each of the individually designed rooms has a hand carved king-sized four-poster bed and is furnished with local wooden artifacts and colourful fabrics. All cottages are provided with fans, safes and beach accessories in the oversized bathroom. In front of each cottage is a private sitting area where guests can enjoy a drink and watch the sun go down in total privacy (B/L/D)

Day 8 – 11
You will have four days to relax and unwind after your Kenya safari on this picturesque private island. Funzi is tucked away on an un-spoilt island in the Indian Ocean. The Funzi Keys’ unique appeal is its luxurious seclusion and beautiful natural scenery. Surrounded by water and superbly located on a west-facing beach with glorious views of the African sunset. This truly is a beautifully remote and exclusive hideaway - the perfect place to escape from the outside world and relax after the adventures of the last few days! There is also plenty to do whilst at Funzi Keys. If you are feeling up to it, you can go sailing, windsurfing or canoeing. The Funzi Keys also provide boat trips up the Ramisi River and around Funzi creek where you may be able to spot kingfishers, crocodiles and even dolphins! There is a dive centre near the hotel too. (All the above activities are extras and payable direct to Funzi Keys). If however you feel like relaxing, there is no better place to do it than on the Mazeras stone deck by the pool!

Day 12
You have a lazy morning (check-out time from your room is 10:00) with lunch prior to departing by boat and by road to Diani airstrip. From here, you will catch your internal flight to Nairobi Wilson Airport (16:00 – 17:20), met upon arrival and transferred to a local Restaurant (payable direct) prior to transferring to Nairobi International Airport (JKIA) for your onward international flight back home (B/L)
