Corbett Hideaway Lodge

The lodge consists of 40 cottages all with air-conditioning and en-suite bathrooms. Guests have three restaurants to choose from and a fantastic pool to cool off in after a morning's activities. Set amongst mango orchids on the banks of the Kosi River, this large hotel is only 10 minutes from the Corbett National Park entrance. Corbett Hideaway Lodge is certainly one of the more luxurious hotels in India.

Style: A lively and popular lodge in a beautiful setting, with close proximity to Delhi.

Setting: Just 10 minutes from the entrance to Corbett National Park, the lodge is hidden away in a thick mango grove which dangles delicious ripe mangos in season. Located near to the flowing Kosi River, the area is alive with beautiful flowers and exotic birds.

Accommodation & facilities: Pebbled walkways lead to charming tiled-roof cottages with stone-tiled floors, woven bamboo mat ceilings, block wood furniture and delightful outdoor areas. All rooms are air-conditioned and include a telephone and a refrigerator well-stocked with refreshing drinks. 

Facilities include a library and a swimming pool with poolside bar. Massage therapies are also available.

Dining: With an emphasis on fresh produce, Corbett Hideaway Lodge serves a wide variety of tasty continental food and Indian cuisine - the specialities of the Kumaoni region are always a favourite.

Drinks can be taken on the deck listening to the Kosi River flowing by while clinking glasses.

Activities: Game drives operate in open 4x4 safari vehicles, led by experienced naturalists.  Other activities include elephant rides in the wild, forest walks and bird-watching. Guests can also try angling for mahasheer (barbuster).
