Okavango and Kalahari Wildlife Adventure - From £4,000 per person excluding international flights

Day 1

Met at Maun airport upon arrival you are assisted with your transfer to your onward flight to the Kalahari. Met upon arrival by your vehicle and guide you transfer to Tau Pan Camp. This evening you have your first experience of the Kalahari Desert...

Overnight: Tau Pan Camp - 8 custom built ensuitThe Pans, Botswanae tents with thatched cover located on a sand ridge with views out over Tau Pan. There is also a great pool where you can cool off in the afternoon heat (B/L/D)

Days 2, 3

Throughout the next couple of days you explore the Kalahari by 4x4 or on foot. A variety of migratory animals inhabit this area after the rains including springbok, zebra and wildebeest in their thousands which is quite a sight to behold in itself. Predators abound with plentiful Lions – especially the famous Kalahari black-maned Lion, Cheetah, Leopard and Jackals. Brown Hyenas and Wild Dogs are also found in the area.

Day 4

This morning you fly back to Maun. Met upon arrival into Maun airport and transferMale Lion of Botswana for your onwards flight to Xakanaka airstrip. Met by your lodge driver you transfer 15mins to Xakanaka Camp. A lovely camp located on the edge of the lagoon and providing excellent access to Moremi Reserve. A chance to relax upon arrival prior to your first game drive in the evening.

Overnight: Xakanaka Camp - cosy tented rooms with open air ensuite facilities and a private verandah. Welcoming bar and dining areas provide excellent areas to relax and chat about the days adventures (D)

Day 5

An early morning start with a hot coffee prior to setting off on your morning game drive into Moremi Reserve. This is one of the best areas of the Okavango Delta for wildlife with a surprise round every corner...Open areas of water and savannah provide hunting grounds for prides of lions, watering holes for herds of elephants whilst the treeline camouflages leopards... Other inhabitants include wild dogs and cheetahs! A relaxing lunch back at your camp prior to setting off in the evening on another game drive.Red Lechwe

Overnight: Xakanaka Camp (B/L/D)

Day 6

This morning you set off on the next leg of your journey by boat through the rivers and waterways northwards through the Delta. A fantastic trip never knowing what you are going to encounter around the next corner or along the way! Arriving at Kwara Camp by lunch time you have a chance to relax and explore your new lodging. This afternoon and for the next couple of days you have a choice of activities on offer including fishing, boat cruises, 4x4 game drives, walking safaris or night drives although bear in mind that the focus is on water activities when based at Kwara.

Overnight: Kwara Camp - 8 comfortable tents set on raised decks above the floodplain of the Delta and amidst a grove of African ebony trees. Ensuite facilities and private viewing decks (B/L/D)

Day 7

A full day to enjoy the selection of activities on offer. As Kwara is set in its own private concession with its two sister camps, it offers ultimate privacy and excellent game veiwing opportunities including lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dogs and much, much, more!

Day 8

An early morning game drive if time allows prior to setting off on your flight over the Delta to your next camp, Lagoon Camp. A fantastic way to travel as you traverse the wetlands of the Okavango Delta spotting giraffe and elephants wondering aimlessly below. This afternoon you settle into your camp or have a cooling swim prior to an evening game drive or night drive...

Overnight: Lagoon Camp - 8 luxury safari style tents located on the shady banks of the Kwando River. One of the most beautiful camp settings in the Okavango Delta (B/L/D)

Day 9

Lagoon is renowned for its huge elephant and buffalo herds as well as its resident wild dogs...Experience the unique wildlife of this private concession on foot, by 4x4 or boat...The lion prides are also known for their hunting of larger prey than usual including elephants, buffalos and hippos!

Day 10

Enjoy a morning game drive on the way to your next camp, Lebala Camp. Open grasslands opening out on to the Linyanti floodplains give this camp a more open feel. Game drive and night drives are the main attractionView from the Air, Botswana here however if you feel like relaxing back at camp then there is a pool and also a hide from where you can relax and observe the game at ease...A lovely camp fire and great food make for relaxing evenings.

Overnight: Lebala Camp - spacious tents built on raised decks with private  sun decks, ensuite bathrooms with Victorian claw foot baths and open air showers! (B/L/D)

Day 11

A full day to enjoy the maginificent game and scenery of Lebala Camp. Alternatively sit back and relax in the comfort of your surroundings. Lebala has great game sightings and is known for lion, cheetah, wild dog and hyena. This evening is the last chance for a night driev to see what nocturnal fauna and flora you can spot...!

Day 12

This morning you make your way out of the Delta aLeopardnd on to Livingstone and the breathtaking Victoria Falls. Flying from Lebala to Kasane you will be met by your vehicle and transfer to the stunning Stanley Safari Lodge. Relax in the comfort of this lodge that is fashioned as an old english country home with stunning views out over the valley to the spray of the Victoria Falls in the distance. Relax this evening and reminisce over the adventures of the last few days...

Overnight: Stanley Safari Lodge - great rooms with spectacular views and comfort with a luxurious rustic feel. Great dining and relaxation (B/L/D)

Day 13

A full day to enjoy the comfort of your lodge and explore the surrounding area. An obvious must is a visit to the breathtaking Victoria Falls, or, for an aerial view, why not try a helicopter flight over the Falls! Alternatives include white water rafting, a visit to the park and romantic meals on Livingstone Island to name but just a few!

Day 14

This morning you transfer back to the airport for your international flight back home (B)
