Xakanaka Camp, Moremi Reserve
Xakanaxa Camp
Xakanaxa Camp is set in the heart of the Moremi Reserve and looks out over the Xakanaxa Lagoon. Located 50 kilometres to the west of the Khwai Gate, this is one of the few Okavango lodges which can offer year-round boating and mokoro (dugout canoe) trips, as well as extensive nature drives into excellent wildlife country.
The cosy tents are set on the water's edge so you can sit on your comfortable lounger whilst looking out over the reed-fringed swamp. The dining area, fire deck and swimming pool all have stunning views over the lagoon. In the evening, Xakanaxa takes on a real bushcamp feel, with the glow of storm lanterrns and candlelit dinners.
