Style: A luxury camp of East African-style safari tents.
Setting: Located in the Kasane Forest, adjacent to Chobe National Park, Elephant Valley Lodge lies on an elephant passage which takes them from Zimbabwe, through Chobe and into Namibia, before returning. Unusually, the lodge is situated within the game reserve meaning that little driving is required in order to commence game viewing.
Accommodation & facilities: The spacious tents are set around lawns or along the edge of the valley. Each tent is comfortably equipped with twin beds, fans and an en-suite shower and toilet.
Elephant Valley Lodge has a relaxing lounge and a refreshing pool, for cooling off in the heat of the day. Meals are served in the dining area or in the boma (outside area), both of which overlook the floodlit waterhole, which is frequently visited by elephants.
Dining: A very high standard of cuisine served either indoors or in the outside boma.
Activities: Days often begin with morning boat cruises on the Chobe River, followed by afternoon game drives in Chobe National Park and returning through the Kasane forest reserve, for night-time game watching.
Child policy: Children of all ages are welcome. Private vehicles may need to be booked.
