The only permanent lodge within the Chobe National Park, Chobe Game Lodge is Botswana’s premier venue for guests wanting to explore the park. All rooms are river facing and each has its own terrace and en-suite bathroom. There is a large swimming pool, riverside boma and a bar and restaurant with Chobe River views. This is a great lodge from which to start or finish your Botswana Safari.

Style: A large lodge with excellent facilities.
Setting: The Chobe Game Lodge is the only permanent lodge within the Chobe National Park and is Botswana’s premier venue for exploring the northern stretches of Chobe National Park. Twenty kilometres from the confluence of the Chobe and Zambezi Rivers, the lodge is within easy access of Victoria Falls.
Accommodation & facilities: All 48 rooms overlook the Chobe River and Carpivi floodplains. The architecture is Moorish with high ceilings and tiled floors. Room are tastefully furnished, each with hand crafted Rhodesian teak furniture and walls are decorated with original African carvings and paintings. Each room has a private terrace and en-suite bathroom.
Chobe Game Lodge has four luxury suites, each with a private swimming pool set on a secluded terrace, with breathtaking panoramic views of the open plains.
The riverside boma (outdoor eating area) is situated under large mahogany trees on the banks of the Chobe River and the stylish Tshwene bar has full-sized Victorian pool tables overlooking the floodplains.
Facilities at Chobe Game Lodge include
a large swimming pool with terrace, a well stocked curio shop and a wildlife reference library.
Dining: Meals are served in the terrace restaurant, overlooking the Chobe River.
Activities: Game drives in open sided 4x4 vehicles, motorised boat safaris and unforgettable sunset cruises are available. Water-based game viewing on the Chobe River is conducted in small, shallow craft and highly manoeuvrable boats, piloted by expert boatmen.
The resident professional guides offer slide shows, star gazing presentations and garden and river walks, as well as walking safaris in the nearby Kasane forests.
Child policy: Chobe Game Lodge caters for children of all ages. Children under the age of 8 years old however, are excluded from participating in game drives.
