With the recent political turmoil in Zimbabwe many of the lodges have been left to age gracefully, but there are some small local operators as well as some larger groups that have stayed behind and continued to show the select few the true Zimbabwe and it is these lodges and camps, found in some of the best wildlife areas in Zimbabwe, that World Big Cat Safaris uses.

Generally the camps and lodges are small and intimate offering the guest a true wilderness experience. These range from luxury tented camps on the banks of the Zambezi River to long standing lodges in Hwange.
