Self-Drive safaris offer the traveller a bit more flexibility when it comes to accommodation as camping is also an option. Most 4x4 self-drive vehicles will be equipped with roof top tents or ground tents; this is a much more cost effective way to visit Namibia and gives you a true feeling of living out in the wilderness. Self-drive safaris can combine as much or as little camping and lodge accommodation as you wish giving you fantastic flexibility when tailoring your own personalised safari.
